Welcome from the 2016 Advising First Blog Team!

Greetings to our fellow Advising First advisors and everyone else reading our blog! We do hope that this blog can continue to serve as a resource for advisors to find pertinent information that you can use in your everyday responsibilities – but we plan to add in a few fun topics as well.

First, we would like to introduce you to our Advising First Blog Team for the 2016-17 year.

Kim Lloyd

Kim is the advisor in the College of Music, and this is her first year serving on the blog committee. She is also a board-certified music therapist and teaches yoga at FSU’s Leach Center.

Willy Leparulo

Willy is the advisor for the FAMU/FSU College of Engineering. This is his second year on the blog committee, and he is credited with creating this blog site in 2015. Willy also plays a sport no one knows about and everyone plays 🙂

Elizabeth Scott

Elizabeth Scott has been advising in Computer Science and Math for over a year, but this is her first semester on the blog team. She loves animals and the Tennessee Volunteers.

James Marujo
James has been an advisor in the English department for over a year, and this is his second year on the blog team. He also loves to cook and write.

Stacey Accad

Stacey works as an advisor in the College of Business, and this is her second year on the blog committee. She recently went to Rio this past summer to watch the 2016 Olympics. She also went to London 2012 and is really looking forward to visiting for Tokyo 2020.

Meredith Warren (Gellepis)

Meredith is an advisor in the College of Human Sciences for Retail Merchandising & Product Development majors. This is her second year on the blogging committee. She loves Bravo, brunching, board games, and blogging (for AF).
